  1. Hey! Am curious about your feelings on the NextGen Flight path bruhaha that is currently killing me in my neighborhood of West Adams. I believe that you sometimes attend a church over in this area, yes? It has been something that we have been battling with for about two years now and it has suddenly gotten so much worse–there is now an airplane superhighway over my house, off of West Adams Blvd, when there wasn’t before. This is also greatly affecting the Meditation Center as well (which is just down the street from where I own my home). I’m at a bit of a loss of how to fight this because from what I understand, it is a federal issue that is out of the hands of the city and our rep, Karen Bass, has been extremely ineffective in actually making any changes to this issue. I’m actually losing my mind with planes descending into LAX every 60-90 seconds and I feel like it has absolutely depleted the value of my home, which means that I won’t be able to get out of here easily. Would love your perspective on this issue and any advice on fighting it.

    • I’m really sorry to hear about this. I’ll ask around the cathedral and see if anyone knows about this issue. It’s no coincidence, of course, that LAX traffic comes in over West Adams and not, say, Beverly Hills . . .
