The soft sexism of functioning pockets https://t.co/TC0vt2HU25

A big YES to the sexism of pockets. Only, it is not so soft if you are a woman needing a pocket! Actually, there are no pockets at all. These are not pockets sewn shut. When I made my own pants, the pockets were longer and less likely to dump the contents.
O.K. a couple of thoughts here about underground bunkers:
I’m finding it a little hard to believe that people who can afford millions of dollars to build a private underground city are actually the kind of people who will ever get dirt behind their fingernails working in their underground gardens. I also wonder how they’ll power these behemoths; you’d need an immense generator to run a place like that – and it’ll have to be refueled periodically, too. The few rich people I’ve known – and they weren’t rich rich, just kinda rich – completely lacked any practical daily skills, much less any real survival skills. They mostly paid little people to handle the annoying necessities of life. Maybe they be inviting the help to join them in their luxury survival bunkers?
Speaking of underground shelters, I noticed that Home Depot sells a selection of very basic storm shelters via its web site. I immediately thought one of them would make a mighty nice underground root cellar.
