  1. I liked seeing the gravelscape article. What most people don’t think about is that the gravel/pebbles that people replace their lawns with hold in the heat and made for very warm nights. And plastic, no matter how it is made, is toxic, especially after sitting in the hot sun. Heavens! And the whole idea of making everything one big parking lot/driveway?
    I hope they are getting rid of that concrete river bed and turning it back into the river it used to be…seems to be taking a mighty long time. Time to be keeping that water where it belongs and not sending it out to the ocean. Oh, and don’t get me started on the amount of water they use for fracking! AGH!
