i loved this article about simplicity. To me this simple life that I crave seems unattainable with my two jobs. However, it’s exactly what I need. Ugh…I’ve spent too many years creating a standard of living my wife and kids expect. I crave this simplicity. I gotta figure out how to convince my family to trade new clothes, resort vacations, and endless activities (gymnastics school trips etc) for this lifestyle. I awkwardly attend permaculture events as a means of escape. Meanwhile my fruit trees are dying.
Are all these return-to-farm people just inheriting property or what? That lady in the article sounds out of touch. I’m growing wary of the narrative.
