Our book, The Urban Homestead just won a gold medal in the Independent Publisher Awards. To celebrate we’ll throw in a back issue of Ripples magazine for the first twenty folks who buy a copy of our book off of this website. Ripples is, “A Revolutionary Journal of Seasonal Delight” published by the nice folks at www.dailyacts.org.
Now that’s enough tooting our own horn. We’ll get back to posting when the dust settles after Earth Day and talk about the hops vines that have just sprouted . . .
Congrats on your award. I’ll take you up on the offer too!
FYI the click through to dailyacts.org doesn’t work.
Michael,
Thanks for catching that and for ordering a book. The link has been fixed.
Congrats!
Kudos to you on the book award! Nicely done, HGE.
Congratulations, Erik and Kelly!
Congrads!! Great news..
That is very cool! COngrats on your great award. In addition to your book, in the aftermath of Earth Day, I’d like to add a recommendation for The Lazy Environmentalist on a Budget. It’s chock full of easy, convenient and affordable ways for people to lead eco-conscious lives. It doesn’t have to be hard or expensive. There are all kinds of green products and services out there we can integrate directly into our lives the way we live them.
well deserved! I’ve read a lot of books on related topics because I thought I should. I read this because it was so much fun–and right on.
Congratulations! all the kids (and faculty) at cal poly knew your back has some greatness to it.
Congratulations, and very deserved!
