  1. Hey, I see trombocino. This is the first year I’ve grown them, and they’re still “curing” on the vine. From the picture above, it looks like they’re not supposed to turn a uniform tan color? I’ll depend more on the dry stem and fingernail scratch test, then?

    • I’m growing them too. I think they are supposed to turn a uniform tan color. You can also harvest them much earlier as a summer squash.
