  1. Regarding the grandma couch–another essential accessory was often thick, clear plastic covers for the couch and any accompanying chairs. Guaranteed to stick to legs and arms–especially in houses without air conditioning.

  2. Thanks so much for It Came From the ’70s – I passed that on to my entire family because it brought back wonderful memories of my grandparents’ house. There was a cuckoo clock, heavy frame TV, mints in a jar, Country Crock spread tubs for leftovers, crossword puzzle books, and a brown Pyrex dish. And that meme with The Price Is Right in the corner…are there reruns on YouTube? That might help those of us in a certain age bracket convalesce from COVID-19.
