  1. I suppose that someone has created a humorous video about the inevitable issues that arise when getting a group of people together for a video conference.
    1. Some participants will have trouble connecting and will need to resort to calling in instead..
    2. Someone will both call in and connect via computer, creating screeching feedback.
    3. Some participants will forget to mute themselves. When they shuffle papers, other participants are treated to what sounds like a demolition crew at work–and other household noises that the rest of the group would rather unhear.
    4. A cat–or cats–will jump on the keyboard of one of the participant’s laptops.

Having said the above, videoconferencing is extremely useful. We will be doing a video conference with my 90-year-old mother’s eye doctor on Monday, as the doctor does not want her to leave the house.
