  2. About 30 years ago, when teaching in a very old and poorly maintained school building,
    I encountered a rat about half the size of that raccoon, sitting on the toilet. It still creeps me out to think about it.

  3. Whata scary about that toilet is not the creature (unfamiliar with raccoons in Australia) but the fuzzy toilet seat cover.
