  1. My first thought on seeing these was “I’m going to make some of these out of concrete. When I have time.”

So very cool looking. Now I want to look up the painted sidewalk fish you posted about a while ago.

  2. I am madly in love with these fish. Now I want a school of ceramic trout for mother’s day and not a compost bin. As far as affordable – these are made in Maine by hand and designed by an artist/craftsman. For what they are, the price is quite reasonable.

  3. To understand his use of “affordable”, one has to understand that Erik’s ideal garden art would be sourced from the basement of the Vatican, or dug up in some unknown grotto in Pompeii, or maybe commissioned from Ian Hamilton Finlay. By comparison, the fish are affordable.
