Nutria tartare anyone?
There’s a push to do something about nutria rather than just kill them (or rather, along with). For some reason, people don’t want to eat them, though they are herbivores which only eat tender shoots and roots. Another use, which is being picked up, is their fur. Righteous Fur (there is a website) is getting the pelts used in clothing. The fur is beautiful; if not used only the tail is cut off for the bounty and the rest dropped to the ground. Thanks for highlighting this.
