  1. Yes, just this week France passed a law making it mandatory for all children up to 12 to wear a bike helmet. I have a vague suspicion the 90 € (yup, ninety) fine will just mean the parents won’t bother to consider the option and just take the car.
Most do make their children wear one anyway.
Number of children country-wide dead from a bike accident the year the law passed? One. (yes, that’s one too much)
Cyclist deaths are on the rise overall, but this doesn’t take the rise of overall numbers into account either. Also, reckless cyclists are probably not the ones who have children who would nag their parents to wear one, as one of the main arguments from the law-makers tout.

  2. Great story on bike helmets and safety, in Ontario the kids have to wear helmets by law.
We also have a provincial by-law that motorists must give bicylists at least a metre space in passing.
I love the turkey breaking up the fight and the rescue chicken story.

  3. It is obligatory for children to applied helmet. Not only children only adults must. Actually both use bicycles or motorcycles ya still have to wear a helmet. The regulations are required on the vehicles bicycles and motorcycles for the sake of the safety of each user
