  1. The City of Beverly Hills opposition to the Purple Line has nothing to do with school safety at Beverly Hills High School. The real reason? City leaders don’t want members of minority communities to have rapid transit access to the Westside.

  2. Hello,
The comment of the first picture is wrong.
The bike lane is on left, it’s hard to drive on it.
The car was not on the bike lane but on a parking lot.
Look under the car, the letters PAYANT, That means it’s a place you have to pay for. And all the street is empty (it never happens in Paris;-)).
It was probably because there will be a protest march or a special event and the city of Paris need to empty the streets.
Isa from Paris who uses bike lane and let her car at home;-)

    • Thanks Isa–such is the danger of the internet these days. Images go viral and bloggers like me don’t fact check (or remember their high school French)!

  3. Not sure where to put this comment, but this post was the most recent ‘drought’ tag. While coming into Los Angeles today, I was disappointed to see lots of irrigation along the highway (605-N?). None of what was being watered looked like it was especially in need or any water, or looked especially nice to begin with – just nondescript green patches.

  4. Do not take a shower John Marino THERE IS A DROUGHT GOING ON IN YOUR STATE! DO NOT RUN ANY WATER EVER!
