Picture Sundays: White Sage

white sage

White sage (Salvia apiana) with Vitis californica in the background. Our white sage plant is probably my favorite plant in the garden. I started to write a post about it this week but realized that Mrs. Homegrown already did that three years ago.

    • It’s true, it does look like that in this picture, but actually there’s not so much resemblance in real life. White sage is a Salvia, while lambs ears are Stachys. I’d like to post another pic of the sage, but am waiting for an overcast day to take the picture. I may be waiting til next winter!
