  1. This reminds me… a Swedish friend who grew up on a farm had a huge wooden sledgehammer in his living room. I asked him what it was for, and he said it was for killing pigs.

    Apparently, they had a thing called a slaktmask, which strapped onto a pigs head, like this harness. In the middle of the forehead was a tube with a big nail in it.

    You strapped it on, then hit the nail with the sledgehammer, killing the pig. It seems like a manual bolt gun. Very creative.

      Lord, that is …er…inventive. Disturbingly so. The Hat of the Nail Death. But I do understand it’s better than taking random swings and hoping to hit the right spot.
