Spotted on Homesteading’s Facebook page: a fold out window box. I don’t know the origin of this photo, but it looks to be a pretty clever idea.
I like this, I’m not sure about the necessity for it to fold out, but in terms of a vertical planter it makes more sense and looks more functional than most vertical planters I’ve seen.
looks like by folding outward it allows the plants to gather more sunlight than they would do if only in the window opening, depending on the orientation of the window
