Peace? I don’t get it, is the cat dead? If so RIP.
@Anon: The kitty is sleeping. I think he looks peaceful. I wish you peace, too.
Wooo! Trout’s getting bigger 🙂 What a sweet little boy he is.
That is cute. Right now, I wish I were sleeping. What is the story with the box and pink paper? Something you put down and was appropriated?
@Parsimony: Cats love boxes. And bags. Hard to say which they love more. They particularly love new boxes and bags, so for cats, Christmas is the happiest time of the year, because boxes and bags are in abundance. So in short, yes, the box is appropriated. Both cats are sleeping in their own appropriated boxes these days, and enjoying tissue paper scraps, and making it very, very hard to wrap presents.
That is way too cute!
Hmmm . . . must be a couple of non-cat-owned people who have sneaked in here.
Our four-month-old kitten, Charlotte, is simply beside herself with excitement. There is a TREE in her house! And it is covered with balls for the choosing! And tinsel for chewing! And, as in the Homegrown household, there is paper and plastic bags and other thingys everywhere! Clearly Santa has come early for her. It is so much fun to see her pure joy at all of the holiday trimmings that I’m restricting the use of Mr. Spray Bottle to those moments when she might actually hurt herself.
A very Merry Christmas to all creatures!
Stripey cats are the BEST! Hope your day was peaceful, and may that peace carry into the new year.
That is so sweet. My Pyewacket appropriated a box two years ago, and I’ll never be able to get rid of the stupid thing because she still climbs in it to go to sleep every night.
What a cutie!!!! 🙂 Merry Christmas
