Spotted at the Huntington Ranch: Lemmon’s Marigold (Tagetes lemmoni), a four to six foot wide schrub native to Arizona and northern Mexico. More info on this beautiful plant here. I want one in my garden!

Very pretty!
Happy Thanksgiving and all that.
What a lovely plant! I’m feeling a little bit of plant envy coming on – this marigold isn’t hardy enough to survive here in the Northeast.
I do love the cold weather and don’t do well in temperatures over 80°ish, but there are an awful lot of beautiful plants I’d love to grow, but just can’t, because they won’t survive zone 4. (Sigh)
I hope you and all Root Simple readers had a fabulous Thanksgiving!
This is gorgeous! I’ll have to do some info digging…it might do OK here in NM, but maybe not…hmmm…
Regardless – Thanks for the inspiration!
This is a gorgeous plant, we had one at our prior residence and I miss it. And the smell is nice too, so sharp and herby.
