See some other examples of attractive solitary bee habitats at http://www.wildbienen.de/wbschutz.htm. It’s in German, but the pictures speak for themselves.

enjoyed visiting your site, great job
Hello,
I am a first time commentator from Germany. I ordered an insect hotel from the german website a few years ago and every year more and more “guests” are moving in. Though it only looks like a brick with holes in it it is indeed fantastic.
Love your website! Please keep blogging!
Kind regards
Kiki
