We started our summer herb and vegetable seeds yesterday using the method in this video. It’s labor intensive but it beats having to buy pots. Happy planting . . .
UPDATE: We had some problems with these and have shifted back to old plastic pots for starting seeds. Read more here.

Thanks for your kind comments and the link to the origami seed pots. Unfortunately those origami seed pot directions don’t work with the overly narrow (not to mention right wing) Wall Street Journal that we subscribe to. Another reason to curse Rupert Murdoch!

The idea of using newspaper as seed pots is very innovative.
This also help in protecting our environment from non-degradable pollutant such as plastic.
